Gialiskari is found on the northern side of the island, 2 km east of Mandraki, on the way to Paloi. The colour of the sand used to be white due a pumice extracting company working in the area, so the beach was also known as “lefki akti” (white shore). Nowadays the beach has again its dark coloured sand.
