Have you been dreaming of escaping to one of the magical islands of the Aegean Sea? Has your holiday break finally arrived and you wish to visit Nisyros Island? In our Travel Guide you will find all the information you need to get to Nisyros Island. The quickest way is to fly to Kos Island and from there to take the ferry boat. The island is also linked to the other islands of the Dodecanese islands as Rhodes, Kalymnos, Leros, Patmos, and the port of Piraeus. Nisyros connects with the Greek mainland by the coastal route to Piraeus. The trip takes about 14 hours. Although the morphology of the ground is not very helpful, there are few buses that can take you for a trip around the volcano and to some of the beaches. There are also boats that can take you to the small islands Giali (Glass) and Agio Antonio (Saint Antonio). In Mandraki, you can rent mopeds.
